PTET 2025 Difficulty Level
One of the most discussed aspects of the PTET exam each year is its difficulty level. Compared to PTET 2024, PTET 2025 was considered to be at least moderate with respect to difficulty, only somewhat dependent on the section. Some candidates found PTET 2025 manageable, while other candidates struggled with time management and conceptual understanding.

General Awareness was slightly more difficult than last year in terms of current affairs, as well as Rajasthan-based questions. Experts indicated that the paper was constructed to test not only memory, but also analysis and the use of knowledge. Mental Ability section overview:
The mental ability section of PTET is usually one of the top-scoring sections of PTET. It involves reasoning and logical/deductive thinking, and many of the questions can be solved using problem-solving skills. In PTET 2025, students reported:
- Around 25-28 questions were very easy.
- 15-18 were average to moderate,
- A few (3-5) were more tricky and challenging, specifically series and syllogisms,
- Most students would be able to easily attempt over 40 questions in mental ability, making it usually one of the easiest to score high in.
Good Attempts in PTET 2025
“Good attempts” represents the number of questions which a candidate can attempt correctly without missing too many questions. Although PTET does not have negative marking and candidates will typically attempt every question, the true variable is the number of questions attempted and correctly answered.
